Brussels will be the place where dozens of commoners coming from different parts of Europe will gather for three days to share ideas, hopes and resources. The European Commons Assembly will celebrate its first public meeting from 15th to 17th of November, 2016 with a program full of activities filling the demands and desires of the commoners.
This is an opportunity for commoners from around Europe to gather in solidarity, network with local commoners in Brussels, and co-create policy proposals for the commons. On the afternoon of the 16th there will be a meeting in the European Parliament, in cooperation with the EP intergroup on Common Goods and Public Services (Led by Marisa Matias, Dario Tamburrano, Ernest Urtasun, Sergio Cofferati). It will be streamed on the internet through the following link so those that cannot come to Brussels can follow the process. On the morning of the 17th we hold another important meeting outside the Parliament, where we will reflect on our work so far and discuss the future of European Commons Assembly.
