Sinopsis:	The following film was made during a 3 day residency in Nottingham. Visitors to the show contributed to the making of the film, helping with filming, its narrative and titles. The idea was that the process of film making was be out of my immediate control. I approach the project by bringing lots of self powered automata and camera carrying devices into a space and using members of the public to set them off in various directions. Mostly they fall over a lot, sending a single wheel spinning across the floor (de rigueur for most action movies). This piece saw the introduction of a number of very difficult clockwork actors who mostly refused to cooperate with any of my original ideas. Instead they ran amok in their own little world. I think we ended up with a sort of noirish murder mystery, but I could be mistaken.
