The call for short works on video of ninth ZEMOS98 (opened the last 31th July) has finished with more than 700 works from 50 diferents countries. The Selection Committee has selected 18 of them to define an Official Section. These works will be screened in the Teatro Alameda in Sevilla on 23th and 24th March 2007. The festival will open its activities on 19th March 2007 in Teatro Lope de Vega.
Works participating in this Official Section will be paid 150 € for the purposes of presenting the work and public screening. Not as prize but since we believe that it must be.
Also, a selection of these short films, according to the vote of the public and the Committee, will compose the next DVD zemos98.
More than 800 people were on Eighth ZEMOS98 in the Teatro Alameda, on Friday and Saturday. ZEMOS98 wants to increase this number offering a new consistent and multidisciplinary selection.
