    • Julián Boal: The theater of the Opressed and the Expanded Education

    Oppression: "The power relationship between social groups and not between individuals." Without next-generation multimedia presentations or jokes perfectly fit among the slides. Julian Boal does not need artifices to talk with the oldest audiovisual tools: the voice and the gesture. The same as at the Theater of the Oppressed, the work started by his father in the 70’s and the work that Julian is conducting this week at the Workshop in the UNIA.

    GONZALO FRASCA: VIDEOGAMES TO EXPAND THE WORLD

    "If we can be literated in how games work, we can challenge them and make our own games to think the world"

    Gonzalo Frasca makes a living from playing games but he is not a lucky insane. Although many envy him for that. He plays, design video games, studies them and teaches them. He has also a Ph.D. in the subject. This allows him to think critically from anthropology to metaphysics to discover the lessons hidden in the enjoyment of playing.

    Óscar Martínez ha cerrado el ciclo de presentaciones del Simposio representando con Transit el perfil más expandido e híbrido de todos los que han pasado por aquí en estos días. En su intervención, Óscar ha presentado tres proyectos, que si bien son muy diferentes entre sí, comparten las siguientes formas de entender la Educación expandida para Transit:

    a) E-learning Vs Belearning / Cultura lucrativa Vs. Cultura libre / Generación Vs. Generacción / Currículo Vs. Expansión

    b) Ejes de trabajo: Encontrar + Experimentar + Compartir

    c) El educador se vuelve "artista" del serendipity y aprovecha la oportunidad de lo que está pasando para incorporarlo al proceso

    CASI TENGO 18: ADOLESCENCIA EXPANDIDA

    Si ya nos parecía todo un reto trabajar el currículo transversal desde el arte contempóraneo o construir una roulotte sonora para la intervención en el espacio, ahora es Amasté quien se atreve a trabajar directamente con los adolescentes, quizás el grupo de edad más complejo pero probablemente también el más apasionante. Hasta el Simposio se han acercado Txelu y Idoia para traernos su experiencia de trabajo con jóvenes en el País Vasco en procesos de mediación, participación y acción socio-cultural.
