The memories of a made-up gymnast. the film combines the artist's hand-held shots of 'real' gymnasts at a competition with fragments lifted from tv that have been manipulated through a new soundtrack, as well as fictitious scenes filmed on video with an actress in the set of a typical gymnast's bedroom in the artist's studio and shots taken with a super-8 camera in bucharest. all these levels of reality are blended into a dense story of a young gymnast's reminiscences of her life. |
